After a server is initialized, you can perform O&M operations on it. For example, you can change the purpose of the server and configure clock synchronization and disk initialization for the server.
Prerequisites
Before you perform O&M operations on a server, make sure that the following conditions are met:
- You have installed OceanBase Admin Toolkit (OAT). For more information, see Install OAT.
- You have added the server, and the server has been initialized.
Procedure
Log on to the OAT console as a super administrator or an O&M engineer.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Server > Server Management.
Find the target server and click its IP address in the IP column.
At the top of the page, you can search for a server by IP address.
Click O&M in the upper-right corner and change the purpose of the server or configure clock synchronization or disk initialization for the server.
