This topic describes how to check the status of an OceanBase cluster after it is upgraded.

Procedure

  1. Log on to OceanBase Database.

    Log on to the sys tenant of OceanBase Database as the root user.

    obclient -h10.10.10.1 -P2881 -uroot@sys -p******

  2. View the current database version.

    SELECT version();

    The result is as follows:

    +---------------------------+
    | version()                 |
    +---------------------------+
    | 5.7.25-OceanBase-v4.2.0.0 |
    +---------------------------+
    1 row in set

  3. View the original parameter values.

    SELECT SVR_IP,ZONE,NAME,VALUE FROM OCEANBASE.GV$OB_PARAMETERS WHERE NAME IN ("server_permanent_offline_time", "enable_rebalance", "enable_rereplication");

    The result is as follows:

    +------------+-------+-------------------------------+-------+
    | SVR_IP     | ZONE  | NAME                          | VALUE |
    +------------+-------+-------------------------------+-------+
    | 10.10.10.1 | zone2 | enable_rebalance              | True  |
    | 10.10.10.1 | zone2 | enable_rereplication          | True  |
    | 10.10.10.1 | zone2 | server_permanent_offline_time | 3600s |
    | 10.10.10.2 | zone1 | enable_rebalance              | True  |
    | 10.10.10.2 | zone1 | enable_rereplication          | True  |
