Ray Yu

Ray has been building the core database engine since its earliest days. Over the past 15 years, he has shaped key subsystems including the SQL engine, cluster management, and the parallel execution framework. He also spent time at Snowflake, bringing back firsthand insight into cloud-native data architecture. When he's not thinking about query execution, he's out hiking with his daughter and exploring rock formations.
