Ley has spent over a decade in the database industry, now driving the product roadmap for OceanBase's data migration, Binlog service, and data import/export tooling. His goal: make sure data moves reliably at scale without becoming anyone's 3 a.m. problem. Off the clock, he's usually on a mountain trail or deep in a history book, convinced that understanding how things scale (and fall apart) makes him a better product thinker.
