Charlie shapes where OceanBase goes next, from long-term technical vision to product innovation. Before OceanBase, he built large-scale cloud computing systems at Baidu. In 2010 he joined as a founding engineer, driving architectural design and core kernel development from day one, and spent the next decade taking OceanBase from an internal prototype to a unified distributed database serving thousands of enterprises in production.
